Amsterdam Day 2!!

Day 2 started off with a metro ride with a special guest!!

We visited the Anne Frank house and went on a tour today. I really enjoyed being able to see what life was like for Anne Frank. I was saddened and in awe of her and her story. I found the tour to be very informational and helpful for me to grasp just what it must have been like eventhough I am privileged to be able to say that I can only imagine.

After the Anne Frank House we went to a resturant where I had the most delicious quiche I have ever had...(sorry mom your quiche is awesome too).

While walking the streets of Amsterdam I am reminded that Amsterdam has a heart for its people as I said on day 1! When I saw a sign that read "NO ONE IS FREE UNTIL WE ARE ALL FREE" , my eyes filled with genuine tears because theres no coincidence that I just got "UNTIL ALL ARE FREE" tattooed on the backs of my ankles to remind myself that I will continue to fight for those who are not free, no matter what freedom they are searching for. I knew in that moment that Amsterdam and I have a lot in common. I know that this is the exact plce I am supposed to be in this moment. And that is where I will leave you for today! See you tomorrow!
